At South Cliff Holiday Park, we pride ourselves on providing a top class experience to all our customers. With this in mind we have various facilities and services in place for users with disabilities, to ensure they receive the same level of enjoyment from our facilities as everyone else.

Location and Park Layout

South Cliff Holiday Park is located on the south side of Bridlington adjacent to the A165. The park is flat and does not contain any steep gradients. There is a slight rise in ground height from the west of the park leading up to the east, beach area of the park. Around the park there are footpaths with drop kerbs for easy access to other areas. During the hours of darkness, the park is well lit through strategically placed street lighting.

Parking

There are two car parks available next to the facilities with the front car park, next to the Reception building containing two disabled parking bays. Cars are also permitted to park next to static caravans and touring pitches.

Reception and Office Building

There is level access to the front of the building leading into the reception area, with a push button wide automatic door. The reception area contains a low level desk.

Other Park Facilities

The on site shop, caravan sales office, fish and chip shop and Makis Leisure all have level access into the facilities. The laundrette has a ramped access.

Hire Fleet Caravans

Two of our Hire Fleet Caravans have ramped access onto a veranda. Parking is next to a flat footpath which leads directly to the base of the ramp. There is also a fully accessible caravan available for booking.

Touring Shower and Toilet Blocks

Purpose built disabled toilet and shower rooms are available within each toilet block. To use the disabled toilet and shower rooms please bring your own RADAR Key.

Transport Links

There are two regular bus services into Bridlington, with both services operating a low ride access system. Please note, this may change on the occasion of bus breakdown in an emergency. All buses will take wheelchairs and assistances dogs.

The taxi service that will allow assistance dogs and wheelchair users is Arrow Cars of Bridlington. This is a bookable service and mentioned at the time of the booking.

Facilities for customers with very young children

Contained within the two touring toilet blocks, we have baby changing facilities.

Language and Alternative formats

We want to make our services accessible to everyone. We understand English is not everyone’s first language so we try to provide a range of interpreting and translation facilities to meet your needs. All our leaflets are also available in Braille and Large Print on request.
