South Cliff Holiday Park is a holiday provider within Bridlington and is a service area within East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC). 

South Cliff Holiday Park holds information about individuals so that it can provide rental services to its customers and contracted agreements to individual licensees of the Park.

 

What information do we hold and use?

South Cliff Caravan Park collects and processes the following types of personal data in order to provide the following services:

  • Personal: name, home address, telephone number, mobile number, e mail addresses, sex, marital status. Used for the purposes of marketing, booking confirmations, billing, licensing and security of the site.

  • Caravan insurance details so that we can confirm that each privately owned caravan is appropriately covered

  • Council tax bills so that we can confirm that each licensee has a residential address elsewhere which is a requirement of East Riding of Yorkshire planning department

  • Gas certificates so that we can ensure that the caravan has received regular safety inspections

  • Holiday booking details so that we can allocate pitches, caravans and cabins in accordance with British Holiday Home and Park Association guidelines and The Visit England Pink Book legislation

  • Barrier pass forms so that we can confirm authorised users only are accessing the site. 

 

On what grounds do we use the information?

South Cliff Caravan Park holds individuals data under the following conditions:

  • the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes

  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract

  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject. 

South Cliff Holiday Park may also process individual’s data where:

  • processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, or those of a third party, and these interests are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms in relation to the protection of your personal information.

    Our legitimate business interests include enabling us to provide you with products, services and information about our products and services (marketing). Third party legitimate business interests include the promotion of insurance services to you so that we have sufficient insurance coverage at our site(s).

 

How do we collect this information?

Most of the personal data we collect is provided directly by you and on some occasions will be mandatory to fulfil legal requirements. Where data is collected that is not mandatory, and is provided to us on a voluntary basis we will inform you that you have a choice whether to provide this.

We will share your data with the following departments upon request:

  • East Riding of Yorkshire Council planning department

  • East Riding of Yorkshire Council internal audit department

  • East Riding of Yorkshire Council insurance department.

We may also share your data with the below third parties:

  • Our chosen insurance partner. We will inform you before we do this, and give you an opportunity to object. 

 

How long do we store information, and is it secure?
